Timpani

This intensive one-week program is geared towards advanced level or young professional percussionists (minimum age of 18) who aspire to perfect their technique through the vast symphonic repertoire.

Supervised by Hugues Tremblay, associate timpanist of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal (OSM), this program identifies your specific technical needs and challenges through workshops, individual lessons and group classes. It also proposes an introduction to the unique school of timpani developed and taught for many years by Louis Charbonneau, solo timpani with the OSM for nearly 50 years.
